Day 1 - Arrival at Evenes - check in at SVOLVÆR
We meet at Evenes Airport and embark on a scenic 4-5 hour drive to the famous Leknes, where we will check in to our hotel. You’ll stay in the same hotel for the duration of the tour, providing a comfortable base as we explore Lofoten’s breathtaking landscapes.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner—an opportunity to get to know each other, go over the itinerary, and discuss the incredible photography opportunities ahead. This is a great time to ask any questions and ensure your camera gear is ready for the days to come.
After dinner, we’ll aim for an early night so we can make the most of the stunning Arctic light in the morning. And if conditions allow, we may step outside to capture the Northern Lights as an added bonus to an already unforgettable start to our journey!
Day 2-6 - exploring lofoten
Due to the rapidly changing Arctic weather in Lofoten, our itinerary is flexible to ensure you get the best possible landscape photography experience. We will closely monitor weather systems to ensure you're in the right place at the right time, capturing iconic locations from Å in the southwest to Svolvær in the northeast.
Most of our time will be spent outdoors during the day, photographing Lofoten’s stunning landscapes—towering peaks, dramatic fjords, rugged coastlines, and picturesque villages. While the Northern Lights may occasionally make an appearance, our primary focus will be on making the most of the daylight hours to capture the incredible scenery of this unique region.
Day 7 - Depature
This will be your final day in Lofoten. We will check out from the cabin, and drive towards the airport, and make a couple photo stops on the way to the airport. We will arrive at the airport around 12.00 the 8 march.
