Leaving on a Jet Plane, April 2020

Doing the lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic, we had a small discussion on, when we last have seen any airplanes. That discussion quickly shifted to, if we could get a nice picture of a plane, flying over our head. Within a period of two weeks, there was only two airplanes that we registred, flying near where we were staying. This picture is of a Boeing 787 - 9 Dreamliner, flying from Tokyo to London over southern part of Norway, at a height of 12 km.

After taken the picture we turned in to black and white - this give the picture a minimalistic and amazing simplicity to it.

Equipment: Sony a7r iv, with Sony 200-600mm G @ 400mm and 1/250 sec.

Limitation: Limited to 12 prints only.

Image size: 40 x 60 cm + 1,5 cm white border around the image.
