Moose - Norway, Dec 2019

An early morning in dec 2019, we went for a trip here in Norway - like many other days, the goal was to take some pictures of moose. The conditions were perfect, with a bit of snow in the air, and a lot of fresh snow on the ground.
The picture of Mr. Moose, turned out to be one of our best pictures of moose - with small snow flakes falling down and landing on the moose, and the eye contact from such a big animal, turned out to be an incredible experience.
We are incredible proud of this picture - the details on the finished picture was so amazing- we even got a selfie in the eye of the moose.

Moose is a natural inhabitant in Norway and are in local terms called; “King of the forrest”. This is with good reason, since it’s the biggest landliving animal in the European continent, weighing up to 700 kg, 3 meters long, and +2 meters over the shoulder. The funny thing about the moose, is that it’s a true Houdini - the moose can stand just beside you in the forrest, and you will never notice the silent giant.

Image size: 80x120 cm + 2 cm white border around the image - The print shows the head of the moose in full size.
